SEARING MEADOW Seeks New Label Home
November 28, 2006Finnish melodic death metal band SEARING MEADOW will enter Noisecamp Studios in February 2007 to record 2-3 new songs which will be used to procure a new record deal. "Ville [Pekkala; guitar] and Mika [Ikonen; vocals] have written some 8-9 new songs," guitarist Sasu Haapanen writes. "I've heard three of them and have to say that although pretty recognizible SEARING MEADOW stuff — much heavier and gloomier. Ville's been listening to lot of bands like OLD MAN'S CHILD recently and you can hear their influences pushing through. I guess you won't hear songs like 'These Evening Tears' on the next album."
SEARING MEADOW's debut album, "Corroding from Inside", was released in 2005 via Crash Music Inc. The CD, was recorded and produced by Kari Nieminen at Musamuusa Studios.
